Norma Linen is a self-trained artist from the rural part of Georgetown County of South Carolina. Her original art depicts her lived experience growing up on the banks of the Black River of South Carolina. "Hunna Chillen" is a phrase from her grandparents in "Gullah" which means "my children" or "my beloveds"
